Add Points to The Registry

Newcoin is an open and permissionless ecosystem where any app or smart contract can distribute points to be weighted by the Newkamoto Consensus which will apply weights based on severag factors, such as the Watts and the staking of a validator.

To facilitate the interoperability between all points systems and their computation, we have introduced an open standard, the Immutable Points Standard Protocol (IPSP) that defines a schema and a vocabulary to contextualize and better interoperate points systems.

While Newcoin is an Algorithmic Points system, points can also be issued by human agents, by smart contracts mechanics or even backend, with a scale of verifiability and credible neutrality which is taken into account during the weighting process.

Once your points are issued according to the IPSP schema, your network becomes automatically part of the Newkamoto Consensus and all the points you distribute will have a weight in the computation of Base points.
